Welcome to my new web page! I'm just getting started, but there's enough here for you to begin understanding my heart and gifts for ministry. More will be added soon. For now, you can learn about some of the different classes, seminars and retreats that I teach and contact me with your questions and thoughts. May God richly bless you with His freedom and light!

A New Life & Ministry
October, 2006 rocked my world. For almost 25 years I had served as a pastor in churches in just about every role imaginable - both as senior and associate pastor. And then a short-term mission trip to the Middle East changed everything. Training and praying with house church leaders from a heavily persecuted country caused me to re-examine my ministry and calling.
On the beach in the back of the hotel one morning, I opened my heart to God - "I am empty and confused, Lord. What now?" He answered by filling my heart with His incredible Father's love for these people. After one year of fulfilling my pastoral duties during the day and counseling, praying and training (over the wonder of the internet) the Middle Eastern church leaders I had met, God made it clear that it was time to go into this ministry full-time.
And here I am. Since November, 2007, I have relied on the gifts of many generous people to help me continue to grow this ministry in the Middle East. You will read about this more in the pages of this website (coming soon). But the ministry has grown beyond this! A trip to Mexico in early 2008 revealed the same pattern I was seeing in the Middle East - Christian leaders who desperately need and want healing and freedom - and yet have little to no opportunity to receive it. In the fall of '09 I will be traveling to Austria (to work with some new, first generation Austrian churches and possibly some Iranian churches) and the Middle East once again.
So pray for me! It's exciting and deep and wonderful and a bit scary all at the same time. I rely on your prayers and generous donations to make this all possible. So many lives are changing through this ministry. Many of those I have prayed with are now taking this same type of ministry to others in their countries. But they need further training - they encounter battles and issues that we in the U.S. can't even imagine. My commitment is to help them as much as I can through the internet (daily) and ministry trips (several times a year) to continue bringing freedom and light to their own worlds.
